In the series “pointless gadgets you still want to have” here you have the Tengu:
A cute little white plastic brick with a face made of LEDs. The tiny microphone in the base picks up sounds in the room, whether it’s music, or your loudmouth boss, and makes his mouth move in time. It’s like he’s lip synching to the song. He’s USB powered, so plug him in to any powered USB port, set him near your favorite sound-source, and your little buddy will perform for you all day long!

A Concept Art for a Rotating High Rise in Dubai. Each Floor rotates independently, an “ever moving structure.”

Shi Yuan has created a way to turn normally passive things into something with a life of its own. Like this wallpaper that reacts to heat.
It is made using heat sensitive paint - and it is incredible. He also created a calendar where the number fades away as the day passes. All in all, ways to make the ordinary, extraordinary again.
look at more of his work here.
cool, but he has way too much time/money.
